Hey Everyone,

I have been lurking around for a while but just registered. I just got the OK from my wife to start shopping around for a new Mustang! Woo Hoo! After reading the posts it looks like I am destined to get an '06. Does anyone have any good leads for me to start looking for a dealer and rep. I am located in GA and will travel around the South East for a good deal. Thanks for your help and this site rocks.

Grats in talking her into letting you get one.
But if you have an idea of what ya want post it up and well see if someone can find it. Or if you want to get an '06 go to your local midsize dealer and order on May 16th or was it 19th .
Anyway. If you want to try for an '05 someone here might find you one at a dealer close to what ya want.
Cause if you want sonic blue or mineral grey you have to try and get an '05.

I am going to want an automatic GT w/IUP, Locking wheel nuts, leather, alarm, side air bags, and spoiler delete. I was really hoping for DSG in '06 (too bad) but if the Tungsten is the same color as the Ford GT on the main page that is what I would get. Anyone know if that is the same color? Thanks for the info. I will start making calls to dealers tomorrow. Anyone know of any in GA?

Try www.goseeoc.com They are in Beaufort (close to Savannah). Had over 50 05 Stangs at MSRP on Friday when I picked up mine.

Lots of options...v6..gt..gt and v6 Verts...the works.

I dealt with Everette Adams. Good Experience.

if you go to forddirect.com and search for cars in the 29901 zip code you will see the options.

Good Luck!

Congrats Andy...... You should be able to find an existing one on a dealer lot. Try Gwinett, I seem to remember someone posting about a dealer there that had some GT's

Might be a little far away....But Dale Jarret Ford up here in NC is great to deal with. They treated me very good, even delivered my car to me (69miles one way). Brought all my paperwork and thru in the "Highway" kit for free (first aid, jumper cables..etc). I literally called them at 9am and they had the car in the parking lot by 1:30pm.
Oh..and they are an authorized SVT dealer. They already have a list for the Shelby's...well...sort of....When they get the official word they call...and the first 15 with the down money get one....at MSRP...no markup. Of course no one know's how much the "down money" will be but I am guessing 5-10 large. They also have 3 or 4 that want the "Adrenaline" SVT Truck if they really do make one. Dave at the dealership said they "tentivaley" know they will get 4-6 cars per selling quarter (??...basically 15-20 cars???)....I do know they move A LOT of SVT stuff...and they have their own "Dale Jarret" series of cars....but that still seems like a BIG allotment. Any dealers know ? They also have their own line of body add-ons for the 05....there was a thread on here with pics about 2 months ago....
Anyway...rambling...too much caffiene...They were really great for me....

Team Ford in Marietta. There's an older gentleman there who is their "mustang guy." He had no problem letting me pre-order at X-plan price months before pricing was released. I ultimately went to a different brand of vehicle and ended up not ordering an 05. I talked to him numerous times and he always kept me up to speed. When I get ready to purchase in the next year or so, i'll definately go back.
