Just got my DORA.....
Just got it faxed over to me from my dealer. I ordered it on 1/22, and it says it was processed as of 1/24. I don't see much other useful info on here other than my order specifics. Is there something I should be looking at? I thought I heard someone say something about allocation or where you are at in order being on here. Am I missing something? Please advise. Thanks.

ask the dealer for a copy of the status report with your order on it and have them explain it to you. Do a search on this site for "THE SCOOP" by Kevin B It is the best Info for this type of ? it is a long thread but read it all you will be a pro and no one can B.S you after reading it............

Here's a "ride" on the ALLMOST GOT IT train... ordered Min Grey GT auto loaded on 01/12 (no deposit). Last week, got a call from another dealer 10 minutes from work... we got your stang! This was EXACT dup of my order, even IUP!
I go straight there to BUY IT and it is litterally, right off the truck! steering wheel and seats still wrapped, styrofoam cubes outside the doors, bubble-wrap slammed into the trunk, 49 miles till empty on the gauge... the works!
I didn't have much time but once the dealer found the keys (probably still in bubble-wrap too) he demo'd My Color... even in sunlight it was cool, harder to see but very cool.
I started it, watched the dealer demo the dash and then said "I'll take it!" He says "get in" and pops the peddle a bit while taking us from the back lot to the front sales office. I tell the squirley wuss sales manager that I want to buy it... and he says, he says (get this), he says "I can't sell it on X-Plan."
Ahhh, I went from driving her home, straight back to the "LIST!"
All I remember is the goofy smirk on his face while providing that thrilling piece of f'in... information. I saw the need and found the ability to utilized my take-it-easy skills. I absorbed the pain and told him that's ok... even though it stung. It was EXACTLY what I wanted... but back on the list I go.
Maybe they should train sales managers to act like they care. If they don't I'm afraid some might be tagged for having a lack of concern...

a priority 2 would be extremely odd. Anything under 10 can only be assigned by Ford. This is very rare. I don't remember reading about any catastrophic problems with your order that would need factory involvement like that. Are you sure that is your priority and not order type?

Maybe they make notes and recomendations from your conversation with customer care, I had quite a talk with them on 2 different occasions...who knows

In the the dora it says, order received 12 07 04, dora issued 1 19 05, he says it is the only one they got.
I have been following the order since the beginning, so it was ordered at the right time, but in the beginning it had the compadability problem, could this be part of the problem with the DORA and the strange priority?
-it also says price level 540, just looked at the original vehicle order confirmation and it says price level 515...what does this mean?
-order type x
-It says DORA across the top and end of DORA on the bottom.
- There is also no pricing in the dora except for price level, meaning,no xplan price, azd plan price, no totals of any kind.
karpro, could you post a recent Dora so we can all see what it is supposed to look like. Thanks Paul..... if you could PM me with your work phone, I would love to talk with you if you could spare a few minutes...also wish you were my salesman, this whole thing is starting to drive me nuts. "
