and ofcorse ran over to that GT500KR! took some pics but they were with my cell phone. like a moron i forgot my camera at home but i think they came out pretty good considering.

i have to say, the biggest crowd in the entire place was around this bad boy. i heard some many ppl saying, o its not worth it, its just a mustang. i shivered when i heard that. when the spokesman got on and talked about the beast, he put so much effort into it i could hear the crowd drueling ahahaha.

i also had a chance to check out the shelby GT500. only got to take one picture since there was a freakin line to get into the car. one thing i DID hear was some couple arguing over the price of it. The husband saw the sticker and said, see honey i told you, only 46k. she said o wow that really isnt too bad.
i came sooooooo close to crushing is dreams and telling him about the ridiculous dealer mark-ups but i decided to let him live in his dream even if it was only for a short while.

If painted, did you happen to hear the name of the paint used?

i dont remember if they even mentioned the paint scheme. all he kept going on and on about were the power specs and how rare and limited this will be.

It looks just about identical to the DCF/Trufiber 68 GT-R hood. Hell, Trufiber is probably making it for Shelby!

 

Upstate, I was there today with my dad, it's $14 adult, we had "discount tix" so it was $12 apeice.

Those pics are from your phone??!! Wow, I need to get me a new phone! They look great! Your sooo lucky! They wouldn't let people sit in the GT-500 at the show I went to! I really wish I could see the KR up close!!

 

I might go this week. I am only 5 minutes or so from the ferry that takes you a block from the show.

But usually the place is crowded as hell, and tough to get near any of the popular cars.

Last time I went ferrari was a no show, which sucked.

 

yea i got that samsung with the 3.2 megapixel camera on it. cost me a pretty penny but i got it specifically for the camera that way even if i dont have anything else on me, the phone camera is still pretty decent. yea the KR up close was incredible. my friends didnt get the whole thing but me, i was in awe.

beside the auto show, the only other way im gonna get that close is at a mustang meet or another show.

 

frerrar has its own section now just like every other auto maker. i was suprised since every other year they didnt bother to show. i didnt check them out but i saw the section andit was mobbed. only cars i went to really check out were the GT500KR, pontiac G8 and some of the custom stangs on the lower level with the trucks, ie, roush and saleen

 

The GT500KR is sweet, I really like the design.
As far as Ferrari they had a both at Detroits show this year and I see the most amamzing looking women in my life there.....oh I think they had cars there too....lol

 

ahahahah yea thats all i go to see in most of the import booths (honda, toyota, acura etc.) i guess they think if their cars cant attract younger folk their babes will. well played!

 

I love those wheels and hood. I just may have to buy a set of those next year.
