Well, never mind about the above post. As it turns out, persistence paid off. On my second try with customer service, not only did I get my vehicle status, but also my VIN! Apparently, there's still a production delay, but I'm satisfied now that I have the tools to check for updates.

My order was placed a few weeks ago, DORA shows on hold for parts. Talked to my dealer saturday and status has not changed. They did let me drive the only Mustang GT they have. Its SWEEEEEEEEET. . Dealer thinks I will have car in early december. B)
