Compared with July 2005, most Ford products experienced sharp declines and overall sales declined 34 percent. In July 2005, Ford offered employee prices (Ford Family Plan) to all customers and posted record sales for the month.
"Sharp declines" and deficit spending (Ford Family Plan) to move vehicles will put the company out of business eventually. Talk about trying to spin an impending disaster. Read this for the "big picture." It ain't pleasant.

The Mustang is hanging tough in it's 2nd year. Only 5.2% less year-to-date compared to last year. 101K vs 107K. At this rate they should sale about 152K for the year.
