NHRA Funny Car champion John Force and his team plan to use 2005 Mustang bodies as test vehicles for this year's events. I have found some websites that will let you preorder a die cast model of the new test car but no photo is available. I can't seem to find a photo anywhere of what this new car will look like. Has anyone seen a pic or preview? Rumors circulate that John will also be adding his daughter Ashley to the team this year as the 3rd Funny Car entry, can anyone support this rumor? I see that she is already entered in Top Alcohol Dragster at Pomona, could she be performing double duties like Morgan Lucas?

 

I dont about Force's Daughter but I have seen this sketch in a Hotrod magazine.

I would totally not have a problem with the foglights if the '05 GT looked like that! Schweet, I love the intilted, um, thingys between the lights.

 

Here is my idea of what Force's 05 car may look like. As for Ashley, I'm pretty sure I've heard that she will stay in the dragster this season then possibly move up to the funny car in '06. John is supposedly retiring in five years at age 60, so they will spend a few seasons racing together and then Ashley will carry on where John leaves off.

 

I too wish John was 100% Ford. Have not seen much of him lately. Whats he doing ??
