Just spoke to my salesman a couple of hours ago, and his vehicle status report shows my mustang (vin#100669) was produced 09/08. Dealer ETA to be determined. It's nice to know that it has been made, but the wait is prehaps more painful because she's sitting behind a fence is Michigan. Hey, maybe a road trip is in order to peak through a fence.

One of this forum's members who works at AAI said in another thread that he hasn't heard anything about a stoppage. So who are you gonna believe, an employee at AAI watching the Stangs roll down the line or Robert Lane of BON who smears Ford every chance he gets?

 

BON lies.

Write that down, and circle it.

And like dan said, they are holding the cars ... don't expect it til Oct.

 

Please, if you are going to pass along information (in this case, really bad information on BON), the least you can do is take one addtional minute and pass it along accurately.

The BON link alleges that there are HEAD problems on some engines, and that SHIPMENT of all affected 2005 models had stopped, until each vehicle could be inspected.

• It's not the pistons.
• Production isn't stopped.
• It's not a fact, it's an allegation by an anti-Ford site.

The proper way to pass this along is a warning that another site is claiming that there are production issues.

Mine should have come off right behind yours. I have #100674 and I ordered mine on May 29. Sounds like we have a similar car- Satin silver GT 5 speed. After making yours, they should have had no problems with mine. Now we wait....

i ordered the same, probably around the same time or earlier. guess i should check w/ my dealer. unfortunatly my vin is about +3000 higher than yours.
