IUP "My Color" gauges on Bullitts??

If a 05-08 Mustang does not have the "My Color" feature, what is the standard color for the gauges then?

I popped open a Bullitt tonight and turned on the HID's and noticed the speedo-tach lit up red, is this the normal color or would this have the "My Color feature?

When I went to fords site and built a bullitt, it will not let me add the IUP option.

correct, because the Bullitt has it's own unique interior dash trim and accents.

i'm not 100%, but i'm pretty sure that the MyColor is part of it.

The Bullitt does have the IUP and hence Mycolor. Verified this earlier this week when I looked at one.

+1! I read online somewhere that MyColor IS standard equipment for the Bullitt.

It's kind of funny that the Bullitt is more fully loaded than some of the other S197s.

My Mustang does not have IUP and the daytime color is white. When I turn on the exterior lights, the instrument panel is lit green just like almost every other Ford since the 1980s. The green backlighting matches the lighting for all of the interior switches and controls. Ford seems to want to cut down on IR emissions and help improve night vision. I drove a Pontiac G6 at night for a few days and the red backlighting was very annoying.

Yes, the red in Pontiacs is very annoying. I personally keep mine on blue. It's a bit easier on the eyes than green, and is something different.

Blue has the least amount of IR emissions in visible light and I agree that I'd probably use that as well if I had MyColor. I switched to blue LEDs in the Mustang's overhead console. It makes fluorescents and whites "glow".
