Yep, I knew it was coming.....It's Michigan......Snow forcasted to start tomorrow afternoon. Washed & waxed, full tank of gas, car cover on.....I will smile again in 5 months

At least I have this forum to keep me going & upgrades I look forward to installing over the winter as they become available.

Thanks to all the great people on here for your posts and comments.

Come on orthoguy what are you waiting for? Quick make plans to get job, sell house and move to florida before tommorrow night! You've got a 05 mustang to take care of,now go go go.

All kidding aside, are you planning on keeping undercover all winter?

That thought did cross my mind!!!!! This car does crazy things to your head!!! An associate of mine owns a Condo on Sanibel Island in Florida, I was seriously considering driving there, spending a week there on vacation, then store it there and fly back home, then try and visit it a couple times until winter is over!!

Don't feel bad, I'm in Missouri and we're getting that weather tomorrow, too. We knew it was coming and I actually like it--- IF I don't have to get out!

I would worry about the gasoline breaking down. You do plan on starting it, oh every so often just to hear it growl right?

orthoguy I'm with you....... I live in Dearborn and am trying to get the stang out as much as I can! I too am putting her to bed for the winter -- but good news is that I am taking a road trip in the beauty this weekend to Chicago....First Road Trip!!!! - which I am really looking forward to.

Are you going to put stabilizer in the tank for the winter??

Jeez Louise, buy 'em to drive 'em. That's why God invented Nokian Hakkapeliitta Q's.

If it rusts buy a new one.

Couldn't agree more. A little snow, sludge, salt and grime won't kill your Pony. You don't see BMW owners store their rides for the winter, and they paid TWICE what you did for yours.

The fact that they tested it on the ranges up here testifies that it will indeed survive bitter cold and bad road conditions.
