It's Official! Grabber Orange is NOT a metallic color for 2007...

I have confirmed this thru my regional contact here in New Jersey. Grabber Orange is listed in the order guides and on their websites as 'clearcoat metallic'. I was told Grabber Orange is NOT a metallic nor was it ever intended to be. So the 2007 color guide that was posted earlier this week was correct, indeed. And now you know the REST of the story!

Well, let's don't go so far as to say it has no pop. When you see a Screaming Yellow S-197, do you not immediately notice it? I'm thinking "yes".

I think right away of the orange Boss 302/429. That is what I would want to try and mod it.

I was playing around in photoshop and came up with a '69 version (yes, I know the boss you're referring to was a '70, but I really like the C stripe from the '69).

I personally think every mustang color that isn't metallic is dull as heck
Especially the yellows and oranges!
but that's my opinion.

Keep the basic Idea but add the black rear louvers and black CDC classic chin spoiler and flat black rear factory spoiler. Add the black insert around the faux gas cap and taillight area. there is a company that makes the new magnum 500's(kinda pricey) in 17" size now. Change out the grill, keeping the fogs where they are, just loose the pony and put the tri bar on the front left relative to the driver. Hmmm wish I could do that.

I remember when the '05's first came out and white was listed as "Performance White Clearcoat Metallic". I was excited that it was a pearl white. When I got to the auto show, I was dissappointed that it was non-metallic. Looks like they did the same blunder with Grabber Orange.

That's what I tried to tell you guys 2 months ago and ya'll said I was crazy.

I'm pleased to hear confirmation that it's not metallic. I don't understand what some of you are talking about "no pop". Tell me Performance Red, Competition Orange and similar colors don't have any "pop"

Pearl and metallic are 2 different things.

That where I'm a little warped. I'd like a purple 07 GT if it ran 10's. I'm alot more caught up in go than show. Just me.

Well for me I spend 1 day of the year at a drag strip and the rest of the year looking at my car every day when I get into it I'd like it to at least have some appeal visually. I wouldn't mind some peformance..but I'm not driving around in a Paisly coverd mustang ..I don't care how fast it is

If you're referring to the '69 like S-197', I'm really liking that guy's use of black! I'm trying to convince myself not to do too much, too soon. It will be hard to sit still, but I'm gonna try.
