First off I have to give Karpro a huge THANK YOU!! He really took care of me and put up with a lot.

The robot lady was still telling me it was on the train, but I called the trucking company any way and found out it had been picked up in Atlanta this morning. ETA was 5:30 but around 3:00 I looked up from my desk and there just happen to be a car hauler driving by the window!
We all went outside and my boss videotaped it while I took pics. I asked the driver if I could drive it off since was in the back and on the bottom. He said YES! I actually got to drive it off the truck! I have some great video of it, but can't get it to work so that'll have to wait until next week.

Bad news is, I can't even drive it. Technically, it's not mine yet. I still have to pay Kapro for it. My wait was over 4 months so a couple of more days won't kill me... will they?



EDIT: Just added some pics that I pulled off the video of the delivery.
One is me getting in the car to drive it off the truck. The other is where I signed for the delivery of the car.

Have you found some in 18x9 made for the '05?
That would be sweet!

 

Sure have, sort of. 17x8, 17x9.5, 18x8, 18x9.5, but NO true 18x9's anywhere that I can find. The places I have found are very expensive, but they would complete your look. If I did not order legend lime, white w/ the blue stripes was the look I was going after. Then adding 500's w/ the GT350 center caps.

 

I talked to a guy in New Orleans today who has a white GT with spoiler delete on order. Very nice car.

 

I think the problem is going to be the offset though.

A long wait, a very happy ending! Congratulations. Those few days are going to be very difficult indeed!

 

You can them custom build to your specs. I just have to figure them out. Everyone has different information on the correct offset and backspacing. I want to get either the 17x9.5 or 18x9.5, but I have not found out the correct backspacing for 9.5 wheels. Huh, I do not even know the correct offset/backspacing for 18x8 wheels.

 

Congrats ! I'm cracking up about you driving it off the truck - be sure to pass that story on to the next generation of StangNut's. Bet you can't wait to drive it all about. Enjoy it very much
