I'm picking up tomorrow, purchasing from Island Ford in Staten Island
I got 'the call' at 10:30 am when I was at work that the car had arrived.
As soon as I clocked out at 3:30 pm I drove to the dealer and took the car home a couple hours later.
------------------------------Mds370----------------------------------------
I was also shipped 12/12. As of 12/17 my car is a railcar and scheduled for delivery the week of 12/20. Still not here yet
If it doesn't come tomorrow, guess it will be intime for New Years?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
well... The truck bringing my car from the rail yard broke down. Might get here Tues or Wed
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not the wait for the car to get built that is getting to me. It's the fact that it is sitting in a lot less than 30 mins from my house! Anxiety is starting to take over .
J/K...couldn't resist giving you a hard time...congratulations on youre new Mustang...it looks great

Im glad to see the new IUP as well. I think that if I were ordering a new stang right now, I would order exactly what you are about to own. Hope you have a great time with your new car!

I know what you mean. Lucky for me I work at the dealer, so I can stare all day long. I'm going to do the detailing and prep myself. There also are a bunch of parts i need to instal before I roll out of the dealer.

Congrats!!! Thats the first one Ive seen with the dark dash...I woulda liked the mycolor(if for no other reason than to not have 3 dead buttons on the dash) but I didnt care for the bright dash- I like the dark one a lot better...does look like the shelby, but I didnt notice the shelby having silver around the vent standoffs...kinda wonder why they didnt use the black vent centers too...in any event, she's a bute!
ps- be prepared for a sore face tomorrow- the grin supposedly will relax after a few days...

Thanks, I felt the same way. I wanted the My color option, but not the satin panels. Soon as I found out charcoal was available I changed my order.
btw.. I have a sore face now !!!

Yes, I got the Ford 18" Polished Bullitts. I have a set of Black 18x9s sitting in my basement. Because I originally ordered fanblades. Figured I was going to sell the fanblades, but since the 18 bullitts became available after my order, I changed it.Now I am torn between which wheels to use.

FYI The Clear Protective Coating is still on the Airbag. It's a Booger to Get Clear pics of these. BTW I resize my pics in Paintshop. Its Easy on any JPg Pic. It is also Clearer than using my Resize in my Kodak Program.

Looks good. I'm curious to see how this would look with either the light gray interior or the parchment. I like my parchment with the original IUP, but this might be cool too.
Quick, someone order their car with the parchment interior and Dark IUP, then take pics and post them for all of us!
Congratulations!

My GT (with dark IUP) is being built the week of 1/2/06 & I've been dying to see what I'm getting. I'm greatful to you guys for posting the first pics of the dark IUP but I'd really like to see some hi-res originals. Can someone send me the originals of any dark IUP pics you take? I will glady post both resized & full size pics on my website so anyone can see the details they prefer. This is what I have so far:
