Got the call from my salesman today. Our "baby" is HERE!!!
I went to see the vehicle before the new car prep was finished, so no pictures yet
We will be taking delivery tomorrow afternoon after they finish with the "clear bra" I will try to post pictures tomorrow but more likely Friday.
Details: Black 05 Mustang GT Premium Convertible, black top, automatic, anti-theft, side air bags, locking wheel locks, IUP

I'm impressed, that's a pretty quick delivery I'd say based on some of what was going on with the November/December orders. Some of which STILL have yet to be delivered.
Could be vert production taking priority??

PapasMachOne: assuming you have dark charcoal interior, that's EXACTLY my car except anti-theft (I bought off the rack and didn't get a choice on that option). Man you are in for a good time and a LOT of double-takes from other people on the road. You just became a celebrity -so don't pick your nose or wolf down food while you're driving... everybody is watching you! Congrats!

I forgot to add dark charcoal interior. I was personally thinking redfire or windveil blue, but, my wife said she always wanted a black convertible.
People have responded with extreme enthusiam about the car just knowing I had it ordered. I can't wait to drive it home tonight.
Even though it will be only in the low 50's in Salt Lake, my plan is to drive top down and have that big grin like the guy in the superbowl commercial

I know I need to resize, but I'm not sure how to do that. Does anyone have recommendations or "how to" link. I'm not completely computer illiterate but when it comes to manipulating pictures I'm a beginner. I will edit and re-post the "smaller" pictures if I learn how to do it

When I said something to my salesman about how some people have been waiting since Dec 04, he told me I was just fortunate.
The week my order was accepted by Ford, the dealership "refused" their allocation of a V6 coupe. They already had 3 on-order so they didn't want to accept another thinking my order would be pulled instead. IT WORKED! From there it was just a matter of time since my order was already a priority 10.
