My dealer said the similar "there's 50 allocated to the region", and he's down to 1. He thinks mine is it :worship: I'm hoping to hear by next week. If I miss.... then who knows when the next batch will get "allocated"

I called 800-392-3673 for the "Customer Service" number that we are supposed to use and she was nice and had a little more info and the evil computer gal.
I called this number today and tried to get some info as far as priority and stuff as everything is C&U on the robot lady. The guy on the phone said "the plant has received your order which means if we were baking cookies were building the dough." I then asked him how long until built, he said "yours will be in the next batch of cookies." What the heck does this mean??????

Ryan I guess it's one of those who you get in customer service things. The woman I spoke with repeated pretty much the same thing as the computer lady and added an approximate delivery date. I didn't ask her for priority because I get bi-weekly written updates from my sales manager about my priority.

Maybe if your C/U they don't have any additional info. I was trying to get a confirmation of a build date and approximate delivery date.

Sounds like the guy you got was not very "customer friendly".

I am the only order at my dealer but my prority is only 11. I asked the dealer why I was only 11 and he said it doesn't matter if you are 10, 11, 12. He says if you are that low you are going get pulled same as a 10. Is that true?

BTW still C/U and no VIN

If you are the only Mustang order at your dealer it won't matter if you're 99. Because of allocations, you're only competing with other Mustang orders at THAT dealership. That's what the priority codes do. The put the dealers orders in order.

LOL! Yeah, he was a real crack pot. He tried to tell me that they weren't allowed to give out much info. I point blank told him that I found a similar one on a lot, and wanted to know how long the wait would be on my order. All he said was "We appreciate your business no matter how you happen to acquire a New Ford product."

Anyway, he specifically said "Your order has been submitted to the manufacturing plant" ---But the robot lady still says "As of 02/24 C&U"

WHat does this mean?? Is the cookie guy saying that next week the robot lady may say something different?? Does he have some insight beyond the robot lady?

i ordered my car from Pistilli Ford in Paramus, NJ. the dealer has been awesome to me. only problem was i had to explain what the DORA was to the salesman. but otherwise they have been great. i was there the other day and they said they r getting their cars at a good rate. 3 v6's just came in and their vert GT is coming in. im gonna go check it out.

I don't think its that..

from what i understand -- if you get pulled on thursday than it will be updated that night/following morning and if you're still c/u then it updates the following night.

If you call Thursday at 11 PM EST and it says the date of wednesday..then you didnt get pulled.
