Well, I would be happy to pay $2 a gallon.

SurfnSoCal - No kidding! We spend a minimum of $120/week on gas in our house... Both hubby and I kicked around the idea of getting a 4 banger japanese car just to save soem cash on gas, and decided no way.

Filling up his truck with 89 from total empty is $50. I normally put in $20 at a time, and it gets me BARELY 3/4 a tank of 89. We each have to fill up about 1.5 times a week.

I am thinking of buying a bunch of gas cans and driving out to some remote state and buying bulk!!!

No kidding, mine was 20.46/11 gal. At first I was mad they charged me for gas, but when I figured it, I wonder if they will let me fill up regularly.
the catch is, Ford RARELY puts more then a gallon or two in the car :P its all good though, every new car is delieverd filled up by the dealer.

Just when over my order again (for the 1000th time).

"11 US Gal Gas $22.50"

Let's see, $22.50 divided by 11 equals $2.05 per gallon. Around here, that's a bargain. I should buy all my gas from Ford!

The Boss Hog . . . . . .
Did you factor in how much gas you actually got for $2.05. Did you actually get 11 gallons, or is that just written on the sheet.

Pittsburgh 89 octane is $2.05.

I remember visiting Italy back in '93 and it was $1 per liter. I can imagine how much it is now. That's why I don't complain about gas prices too much.
