I plan on hooking and Ipod, a blue tooth handsfree kit and possibly a sirius tuner. Does have pics of the back of the unit so I can see if it support all three?

Just FYI, using a hands free kit doesnt make talking on the phone while driving safer. Its still more dangerous then drinking and driving.

I am just curious. How is talking hands free on the phone any different than talking to someone in the car?

Do you really need to post this in every thread about bluetooth?

Still, I'd rather see him using a handsfree and keeping both hands on the wheel as opposed to those morons with the handset pressed to their head paying even LESS attention to the road.

He's doing the right thing.

back to your question, we'd need to know what head unit you have, and what year your car is.

shaker 500 will do bluetooth and sirius factory wiring harness, they piggy back on the harness. As for the ipod the direct wiring is yet to be available to see if it works or not. You can get the nav unit and its all set up for it. The ipod harness should be out shortly. Give KC a call at clevenger ford, are fords parts guy here for any info on what has been done so far. Good luck

Ok I have a 2007 with a shaker 1000. Here are my plans before I buy I need to know what Im up against before I waste any money. I dont have the info on the back of the shaker 1000 so I dont know how many things I can fit in there. Please help.

I want to keep the shaker 1000.

1. Plan to buy an Gen2 iPod2Car 2FD1 seen at this site, (http://www.mp3yourcar.com/product_in...products_id=37)

2. I also want to add a Parrot CK3100 seen at (http://www.parrot.biz/usa/products/ck3100-lcd) I will also buy a harness which will plug directly in the back of the radio which they sell seperatley.

3. Also plan to add a sirius tuner so I can hook it directly to the rear of the radio.

See you have to look at it more sensable. A handsfree kit is the safe option, with one hand on the wheel this gives me the ability to not only shift but also drink a beer in between gears. If you add a cell phone call in this picture you are certainly correct in the danger behind the wheel. My next post is how to modify the center console into a cooler for jagermeister. lol

It's not. Thats why I'm glad I don't have passengers 90% of the time. And when I do, I hardley talk, because I'm looking out for all the morons who are talking on the phone while driving.

I'm pulling my Shaker 1000 as soon as my factory NAV gets here. I can take pix then and post if no one has by then. I'm expecting it any day now.

No drugs. Not nervous when driving, I just don't like 90% of the drivers around me.
