Intermittent Dashboard Chimes/Beeps

Sorry everyone that I've been MIA for such a long time. Just got caught up with life and everything else going on. Glad to be back on the forum here.

Big question for all of you. Does anyone have problems with their dashboard sounds (seat belt indicator, low fuel, door ajar, turn signal ticking) working intermittently? This started happening not too long ago and I can't seem to find anything on any of the forums as to the cause or what the fix is. Sounds work when I fire up the car, but after like 5 minutes or so it stops working, then works later on. It's annoying and was wondering if there was a fix for it without having to pay for a whole new cluster and programming.

Wow, 3 weeks and not a single response. That's a first. Guess I'm the only one with the problem.

Yeah, things have gradually slowed down a bit around here.

I wonder of it could be the SJB getting wet. Check the cabin filter location under the hood and look for signs of water backed up in there and see if debris is blocking the drain holes. That can cause water to leak into the cabin in the SJB area (behind passenger kick panel). This can generate assorted electrical/function gremlins.
