OK, now I'm confused. When it comes to cloth interiors, I've seen the pony on some... the word 'MUSTANG' on others. Is one style pre-production while the other will be what comes out on the finished car?

Or is one style for Deluxe and one for Premium? Guess if I was going for leather, I would never have noticed...

If you order Cloth interior, The Pony's are in the GT's, and the Script MUSTANG is in the V6. There is no real difference from what I've seen or heard between V6 and GT Leather.

Yeah, that's because it's cheaper to make two different cloths in all the colors...

No, wait, that can't be right. Because if that were true, we'd get all red cloth and IRS and power antennas and Blazing Copper and... uh...

Just pokin' fun, y'all. :P

Is it me, or is that pretty strange (may i even say 'cheesy') that they are putting an almost holographic or translucent word pattern into the clothe seats (almost like the over badging of some *caugh* *caugh* italian cars). Its makes no difference though, i dont know if i could stand the leather if it was the quality of the leather ive seen in recent mustangs (meaning they all seem to crack) or any recent car, foreign or domestic. For example, my dad got a new 3 series about a year ago, and within 4 months there was wear on the side bolsters. That scares me to death, because i heard leather repair is a grip.

o i also 4got to say, the automatic shifter looks like a cheap plastic toy you could brake by squeezing to hard... just my opinion. but i wont b getting the automatic : ) so not my problem. just the 2-brake bugs me for some e-brake manuvers...
Yeah, it looks similar to the auto. shifter i had in my '67 (the T handle approach)..why couldn't Ford put in the "shiftable" model from the Tbird? ......isn't it the same 5spd A/T?

I like the aluminum trim, too. That red on black looks killer to me. If it were totally red, that'd be overkill. Saving my money now for a GT or SE, maybe a SVT, black with red interior. Too bad I have to buy a house first (wife's decision) LOL
Why not get BOTH? just take some extra cash from the mortgage (mortgage rates are a hellava lot lower than car loans). I recently re-financed and took additional money for the purchase of my "weekend cruiser"!
