I'm thinking the standard silver color will look awesome if I get the C&L intake.

My Thoughts. Let me say the quality is 1st rate. Weight is not an issue .. only about 1/2lb. Hood clearance is not a problem. When attaching it is necessary to put the brackets for the cover under the fuel rail for it to fit correctly. I simply removed the (4) studs, pulled back a little bit on the fuel rail and put the bracket for the cover underneath and reinstalled the stud.

I think it came out great and am very pleased with it!

Please tell me your thoughts ...

Divon - I agree C&L intake would look great with this cover in silver.

Thanks, yes the lettering is just vinyl. 1/2" x 11" in Brushed Stainless finish. Cost me $12.

Oh and I just want to say 'Thanks!' to Mid West Auto Gear. They pretty much
custom made this for me without the 'GT' lettering. Their service was great and the
cover was also carefully packaged and shipped when they said it would.

Great people to work with !!!!

Ponygirl .. I just had the lettering made up at a sign shop. 1/2" x11" in Brushed metal finish. I think it would look great on your yellow cover. The emblem is a
grille emblem off a '99 mustang. It is much smaller then the emblem on the '05.

Hope this helps!

JOhn, are you keeping that one on, or are you getting the injected molded one. They said those who bought the fiberglass one, would also get the molded plastic on too?

Looks great, the emails I am getting for the group sale are puring in.................!!! YEH

Ponygirl,

Sign me up for a solid black GT DELETE cover. Are we at the order volume for the $102 pricing yet?
