Just got off the phone with my insurance agent.
He quoted me a price of $550 for a 6 month period or $91.66 per month
for full coverage. This sounds like a good deal. What do you think?
This includes a multi car and policy discount and I am 44 years old with no tickets.
Allstate has been good to me.
Anyone else checked into this yet?

My Insurance is through USAA - my payment will be 459 for 6 months, or a little over 70 a month. I'm 35 with no tickets, multi-car discount. The quote is for Tampa, Florida. I had him quote me for Vegas - where I used to live and it was nearly double.

Ford Insurance Program 1-800-367-3847 dial 8 at the automated voice, then 3053. My name is John Tony Williams. I will be more than happy to give you a quote, just make sure you have your current insurance policy handy.

I went through Liberty Mutual Insurance and was quoted $1060/yr for full coverage on my Probe GT and Mustang GT. I was pleasantly surprised.

Not all, but most Insurance companies are using a 2004 Mustang GT symbol. The 2005 Mustangs symbol could be different. So don't be too surprised if your quotes change. The new Mustang is just too new and the insurance companies dont know exactly how to rate for it yet.

I buy directly from Travelers. I pay $830 per year and was told it would remain the same. Clean record no tickets, only car covered.

I've had Travelers for more than 5 years and left them this month because they couldn't come near the quote from Liberty Mutual.

Sounds like a good rate for a new GT. I would think the boosted hp in the '05 will bring the premiums up a bit.

Travelers is using an 04 Mustang symbol, and it will stay the same as long the 05 symbol stays the same as the 04. I was just saying that everyone might want to take insurance quotes with a grain of salt regarding the 2005 Mustang.

I gave Travelers my VIN, not that, that means anything. Rate I am quoting is also for a V6 not a GT.

Nichole, Thanks for the tip. I will be checking to see if Liberty Mutual sells in SC. I shop price every year and no one has ever been able to beat Travelers price buying from them directly, not using an agent.

Mine's $104/mo with $500 ded and a clean driving record. Insurance is high in the Memphis area, but if I had another car, the multiple car discount is 20%, so it would be in line with other rates quoted.

Mine is $234 a month.... $2,106 for a 9 month policy. That is $50 more than my 2000 V6 vert.

Yey for being a male, 21yr. old driver in CA.

That is AAA and still on my parent's insurance...with 2 tickets.

Oh, and hi guys.....just registered....came over from stangnet.com

The symbol for a 2004 Mustang GT is a 22, the symbol for a V6 is a 18, as long as these symbols stay the same, yes the quotes will stay the same. I was just saying that the rates may change because insurance companies have not assigned a symbol of the new Mustang GT or V6. Travelers is one of those companies. Not trying to get into a exquisite feeling release of liquid waste product argument, was just trying to help some people out.

Allstate really screwed me on a homeowners policy by counting 2 inquiries about coverage as claims and then refusing to reissue a new policy because "I had 3 claims" when there was really only one claim. I moved all my insurance away from them. I will NEVER do business with Allstate and would advise anyone to stay away from the company that does not care how long you hav been a customer. Allstate stinks! I had been with the for 10 years.

I use Mercury and have had very good luck with them through 2 sets of teenage children years. Check Mercury and I'll bet they beat the crap out of Allstate.
