Cool

I know everyone probably already knows this, but I haven't heard opinions about it. What do you think of this "industry first"--the optional color-configurable instrument cluster? I think it's really cool that you can create more than 125 different color backgrounds to suit your mood. Great for me because my husband can tell you I AM moody!!! HA!!!

sounds like a cool idea... most people probably wont be able to see the subtle changes that make the 125 different colors i would think. but i do like the idea of changing the color if it is 5 colors or 125.

Well to go a long with Torch Red, my intrument cluster will be set to RED most of the time.

Maybe white when I feel like it.

I think it's an awsome idea. Besides now I don't have to pay for the light kits for the interior. Now I can set it to Purple & go.

Purple for me...Maybe blue sometimes. Its a spectacular idea!
I am quite sick of green on my gauges now, the XM is orange- and I only like Orange if it's mustang paint.

Orange lights on the dash remind me of my 93 and 96 Corvette!

It's pretty cool, but it's a little difficult to navigate. You wouldn't want to do it while you were driving.

I read in the owners manual you can't do it unless the car is standing still.

It is a cool feature, but if it was a stand-alone option, I wouldn't spend the money on it. I'll probably have it as blue most of the time, but I am sure the passengers will request different colors.

If only the stereo's lights could be changed to match, now that would be something. Another new improvement for the 2006MY

I think it is cool. However, my radio can change between a few colors and I only keep it at one color. Maybe with a few more color options, I might change it every once in a while. I like the red or white. But will have to see what the other colors look like in person.

It'll be fun to play with for a while, but then I think I will set it and forget it.

To paraphrase KevinB's original custom title, I wish they would come out with a 125-color configurable EXTERIOR. Then we'd really have something!

I think it's a nice idea. I have white in my current car and would love to change it on occasion. Looking forward to "zoning it in" when it comes, which hopefully will be any day now...

Because its software based...(not a dial) I think it would be cool for a random colour mode

You can choose any of the regular presets, and then you have the 5 levels of RGB, which you use to change the MyColour/ColourShift colour.

So you can have the presets+1 other colour that you make...saved in the computer. (at least from what it looks like)

Unfortunatlely, I would probably only be able to see a few of the colors...

Because I am partially colorblind :bang:

So it is an option I could do without.
