installed a CDC ducktail yet?
I'd been planning on getting the CDC Ducktail put on my car when I got it, but after finding out that their solution for a 3rd brake light is to install one inside the rear window, I'm not so sure any more. I kinda like not having that hump visible on the inside, and having it build into the decklid works for me. So then my choices for a ducktail are for the Roush (no!) or the Xenon, which I'm not that fond of either.
Until this morning, when I went back through the SEMA pictures, and noticed a nice looking ducktail on the Westrenz car. I've sent them an e-mail about the availability of that spoiler, but haven't heard back yet.
I've got time, won't be getting the car until the Pony Drive in June.

The MRT Interceptor has a nice ducktail on it. Not sure if that is the Xenon or not.

Don't think I got the sarcastic remark either, but I didn't see the unedited post. At any rate, altoid's got a c/t, which means he is prone to doing either very smart or very dumb things... I'll give him the benifit of the doubt
As ppl have posted, there are sites for both CDC and Xenon. Here are both of 'em. Red is CDC, silver's Xenon - I don't know if the CDC covers the holes from the stock spoiler, but their site does reccomend that u get the spoiler delete option (I would anyway - not a fan of the stock, JMO) On the Xenon one, it looks a lot more obvious that its an add-on - see the lines where the new spoiler meets the trunk lid? In the pics I've seen of the CDC, it looks a lot smoother, I just wanted more input.

There are a lot of good pics of the CDC spoiler in the SEMA section. You can see it from all angles.
So far no one has come out with a better looking spoiler, IMO. CDC's isn't perfect, but it's the best we've got for now. (again, IMO) I just think the Xenon (Saleen...oops) spoiler looks too F & F from the back with those extra braces or legs or whatever you want to call them.
BTW, CDC said their's should be available by the end of the month.
EDIT: I was thinking about the Saleen spoiler. Still like the CDC better.

hey stoic - love the avatar! whats that from?
Oh, and StangNut - as I mentioned, cal-mustang.com already has 'em. CDC said their ENTIRE product line would be available by March 1, a lots already done.

I kinda like the Xenon ducktail better than the CDC one, primarily because it doesn't cover up the third brakelight, and it's about $40 cheaper. However, the shipping on that thing is $110! So I think I'll be getting the CDC spoiler, and I can save on shipping since I'll be there in June on the Pony Drive anyway.
It would be nice to see the CDC ducktail with a normal backend that has the badging on it. IMO the Mustang tail doesn't look good with a big empty spot between the tailights.
I like how they integrated the galloping pony into the design though. Could be overkill on a V6 (since the pony is on the badge). I'm still split I like aspects of each.

I prefer the CDC ducktail, I just wish it didn't look glued on. The bottom of it should have been tapered or something so there wouldn't be that lip.
Altoid since the only thing near your butt is your wallet, do you find it more comfortable to stand up to use your computer?

I'm getting the CDC one because I like how retro it looks without the light in it. My solution is to install a thin LED light strip up by the headliner as the third brake light (like in the CDC glassback). I'll be running the wires up the interior quarter trim and above the headliner. It should look like a stock install when I'm done without having that hump. Wish me luck.

awesome- thanks, frank!
is there a way to make it so the lines are less noticeable? no offense, like the way it looks, just want to make it look as much like part of the hood as possible

I actually don't think it's possible to make a ductail for this car without making it look tacked on. Saleen did the best job but then the had to extend the rear end beyond the taillights.
