How long does in normally take for Ford to start offering incentives on new models? I want a new 05 GT but I am willing to wait to get the best deal I can.

There will not be incentives for a while on this car. Maybe not even at all for the year.

edit: I'm talking in rebates/cash .. 0% financing or close to that may be offered, and probably will be.

incentives are offered, like the opportunity to own one of the greatest cars in history.

My salesman told me yesterday that there would not be any good interest rates right now. I am wondering if this is really true, could be that the dealership just wanted to give there business to the local bank that he got me 4.5% thru, or is it that I will hopefully be taking possession of my car this week and there is just nothing right now.

You almost sound like a salesman.

I think that I will wait for the lower interest rates from Ford. I think there will be some after all the dealers get the cars on the lot. I have not had much interest in the mustang after 67 model but this car does it for me.

Not a salesman, just someone who knows how business works. You don't discount something that you can get full price for.

Grantsdale may not be a salesman but in this thread KevinB says the same thing. I think we had this conversation yesterday.

We have the same conversations every day ... doesn't matter what it is ... we just go around in circles. Its ok though, since every day is a day closer to getting our cars.
