I don't care for it. I ran up on this guy last week. I timed the lights (a series of 4 or 5 that are all timed) and he was running up on each one. On the last one I knew it would change and just kept my speed even. I guess he eventually saw me past the wing and maybe thought I was getting bad, dunno. Anyway, he nails it and has got to get up to 80 in a 45, while I continue to cruise at 49mph. Imagine that, I pull up next to him at the next light a couple miles down the road. I look over and get the straight ahead look.

A few days later drove by and saw the car parked and decided to snap some pics with the camera phone. Sorry for the crappy quality but I don't carry the real camera around just hoping to find ugl, umm, exotic, cars to photograph.

Again, all my opinion, but if I want good rice, I won't go to an american restaurant for it, you know?

That is the most ugly wing I have seen on a stang...INMO! It's funny how in all actuallity, the more expensive of the car you go the smaller the wing gets... i.e GT - GT500. This guy just wanted his car to look like some Jap Crap!

 

Same thing happened to me driving through west virginia. was passing up a camaro when i noticed i wasnt making it past him. i kept notching my speed up and he kept doing the same. i figured he just didnt want me to pass him. So i let him. backed off. so he slowed down. i finally got in behind him, so he drives just under the speed limit just to provoke me to try and pass him for almost 50 miles.

Those wings are great picnic tables at the car shows. He doesnt have to unfold it and set it up at RICE NIGHT.

Same thing happened to me a couple of months back in Ohio.
It was also a GT, but was the model in range of 99 thru 04.

To each their own, personally I think there are better hood options out there (GT-H ) and the wing is butt ugly, not to offend anyone as I am almost positive that we have a member here that has that wing on their GT as well. Still the rest is nice, I really like redfire with black wheels.

 

That's the Steeda wing. It adds downforce at 140 mph.

 

But it makes a nice shopping cart handle when you run out of gas.
