I'm very sorry. Hopefully you can find a dealer who can help get you an '06 ASAP.

I would be on the horn to my dealer and find out why they let it go this long without doing anything or getting your car scheduled.

I don't get it - you're in Michigan, for criminey's sake!!

I'm in Virginia, ordered mine in March and got it late May. And Stangarang (buddy of mine here) ordered his a few weeks before me from a different dealer and got it a few weeks ahead of me! Ten weeks for both of us!

Your dealer screwed you big time, methinks......

its all about allocation...as well, alot of us here in michigan get A-plan, and I heard a rumor that for a while, they were instructed not to build A-plan vehicles to increase profit per vehicle, probably for earnings release----

In Michigan I have not been able to even get an order placed, let alone have it get cancelled. Local dealer knows what I want but can't place the order for whatever reason - allocations, etc. We just build them all for those states that do get allocation lots it seems. I have seen exactly one Mustang GT on the road here to date and less than a handful of V6's.

Yea, that stinks big time. I ordered one the beginning of February and it is the same as yours "balanced out for the year, your vehicle will not be built". Luckily I found one on the dealer's lot. Time to hit Forddirect.com or possibly Ebay has quite a few listings. Good luck!!!

Did you inquire about that "other one" on the lot?

No, it had a stick, and Sharon doesn't want to drive five minutes to work with a stick. Oh yea, and it had dark charcoal. She wants your light parchment. (Not picky, is she?)

Will the dealer still honor your January price protection?

Mine won't --- he claims it is a Ford mistake because they sent him vehicles with higher priority #s than I had! ( I had x-plan)

Let me know, I think Ford should honor these.

All the dealer had to do was call his zone manager to get it scheduled. A lot of dealers prioritized their orders to get the stock ones that they could sell at MSRP+ rather than the low profit plan vehicles. It really is not Fords problem rather a problem with the dealer.
