I'm New and Have a New v6 Convertible
Hi
I'm a long-time reader of the forms and have used many of your thoughts when deciding on my car. Attached is a pic of my new Mustang. Details include bright red exterior, 17'' cast aluminum, Premier Trim, V6, Red Leather Interior, Satin Panel, Cloth roof and lower rocker strip (black) saying "Ford". I love this config and I very happy. I will post better pics early next week.
Thanks
Jeff

I use RAGGTOP cleaner and conditioner on my vinyl top. They also make a cleaner/conditioner for the cloth top. Check out this site for some good info: http://www.autogeek.net/facotop.html

Welcome Jeff.
On keeping the cloth top clean - you will definitely want to get a lint roller (the sticky ones) as lint will stick to the cloth. IT does a great job and real quick.
You may also want to treat the top with RaggTopp cloth protectant so that it repels water better. RaggTopp also sells a cloth top cleaner.
Enjoy your vert!

Welcome jeffro. Love the red on red with a Mustang convertible. You're going to have a lot of fun. Congrats!
I'm glad to hear you read this forum for a long time and it helped you decide the Mustang you wanted. You were smart to do the research.

Hi Guys
Thanks for your input. One question, can you tell me what your routine is in terms of washing, waxing and such. I have been reading about this but I can't seem to find exactly what I should be doing. Also, what cloths should I be using when I follow the cleaning routine? I'm sorry, but I am new and this is my first car and I don't want to make a stupid mistake.
Please help.
Thanks
Jeff
