If you would customize your 05

retro....the 05 looks very modern, but with that body design, just imagine what a mach 1 or boss would look like
If you want futuristic, roush or saleen etc. will have stuff for you. GTR is an example of this.

I vote retro. I'd put those 5 naca scoops on it, plus a shaker hood, a pronounced agressive chin spoiler, louvers, steel wheels with GT half caps, honeycomb rear panel, and paint a flat black stripe down the middle, and paint the spoiler flat black too.
For starters...
Actually, I'd like the Enterprise (1701-A, mind) warp nacelles hangin' from the rear fenders. Enterprise NX-01 would donate their front dish, the deflector, which in space moves tiny particles outta the way so the ship don't get bashed by dust, but in our atmosphere will keep the bugs off my windshield.

Honestly, I am going to do whatever I like better. Currently, I would take mine more retro. If I see something I like better from Saleen or Steda, etc I would do that instead. It is hard to predict how much I might like something I haven't seen.

Im thinking about Foose/boyds wheels, bassani mufflers, 1" drop, and black vinyl skunk stripes on the hood only on a mineral grey with red leather now
That or maybe even a white with red and red stripes
I CANT DECIDE!!!!

I had to go retro. The old Boss, Mach and Shelby's are the most memorable to me. I had a 91 GT which was great and I regret getting rid of it everyday. I really think the 05 will be the best of both worlds. New tech with design cues from the past. I am going crazy waiting.

When using a body kit for me that would entirely depend on what Saleen will come out with. On the SN95 that was the only body kit that actually improved the looks of the car, all the other crap just brought it down. Especially the Roush kit, YUK that was ugly.
For a coupe in stock mode I'd definatetly go for Mineral Grey with Red Leather, that will be totally awesome, better than black with red leather or any other body color for that matter
Modification without body kit I'd go for the Eleanor look based on Mineral Grey also, but then combined with charcoal leather. Stripes, 1 inch drop, rims, billet grill and have the front bumper cover altered to accomodate the fog lamps... sweet B)

The first thing I'm looking to do is install louvers and possibly tint the windows. Then if I can find a decent job next summer I'll put Magnaflow exhaust on the car. Other than that, I believe I'll keep it pretty much stock.. perhaps I'll get an intake. Remember, I'll have a V6.. If I can gain 15 hp from those two minor performance upgrades i'll be around 235 (assuming the German engineer's comments about the 4.0 V6 engine are correct). That's about the hp my T-Bird is putting out now and the Mustang would weigh significantly less, and that T-Bird moves.
Wow. That was a huge tangent. Well, I guess the louvers would make it retro... so I'm gonna have to go for retro.
