My second color would have been Screaming Yellow. Because it's a flashy color. I believe there are two types of people when it comes to colors. people who like color, and people who don't. Reds, greens, blues, yellows are color people. Whites, silvers, greys are non color choices. I kind of feel that non color choices make the mustang look a little more bland. I'd never get silver or white. I might get grey. And black is its own catagory.

Red fire, I wanted black but after owning a black car I knew how much of a hassle they can be. Then I was torn between redfire, sonic and mineral grey. After seeing a sonic blue pick up at the dealership, I knew thats the color I wanted. I actually flip flopped on color choice for about a month, was even dead set on legend lime for about a week.

Windveil Blue, because it is the color I like second most. Duh!

Seriously though, my favorite color is blue and my past two mustangs were both blue. I got Legend Lime because it was different than any other color out there on a car (with the exception of the VW beetle, but LL is still better than that lime color they have), and after two blue cars I figured it was time for a change. Out of the two blues for 05, WB is my favorite. I don't like how sonic blue looks purple uner certain lights. If I were to get an 06, it would be a tie between WB and Vista Blue.

My favorite and first choice was a redfire gt coupe.
The wife wanted a black gt convertible.
Any guesses what we ended up ordering?

I've got a '06 black gt vert on order.
ERL says "as of 8/17, scheduled build date is 8/15"
Dealer says we're about a month from delivery.

I had ranked the colors before, but I cannot remember what the order was anymore... I just know the reds, silver, and white were at the bottom. I think I had LL, black, and yellow in the middle... Leaving MG, sonic, and windveil at the top.

Black is probly my favorite for a car, but promised myself after 9 years of marriage to a black car that I would never own another black car again.
Torch Red or Vista/Sonic Blue were my 2nd choices. But I fell in love with the Tungsten colored show car.

My first choice was LL since my dad had a green Mach 1 which was my inspiration. After seeing the TG that was it. I knew I wanted it. IF for some reason I couldnt get the TG it would really be a toss up between LL/SS/and Redfire. Of course thats if MG was not still available.

If I weren't going to get Satin Silver, I would go with either Windveil Blue or Tungsten Grey. Those two colors were great additions to the Mustang line. Tungsten looks good but has yet to impress me so right now it would be Windveil Blue because I like the darker blue color (if I weren't getting Silver).
Also I don't think Silver is bland. If you let it get dirty it will look bland, but it you keep it clean and waxed it will stick out. And I don't need a color that would catch too many eyes (especially on the freeway).

My 2nd choice was the Redfire. Red is my favorite color, anyway, and the 1st '05 Stang I test drove was a Redfire. Beautiful car!! But when I saw the White........that was all she wrote! Love the color!! And I'm still thinking of putting light grey stripes on her.

I love black, but I don't want the care involved again. I chose white because it is awesome, that is when it arrives.

Black is first on my list becuase of the way seams and fussy details disappear. Yes, it is a pain to care for, but SO worth it when it is done.

Screaming Yellow would have been my second choice, because it is such an attitude color.

But Vista Blue would also tempt me. Always liked the deep electric blues.

My fav color is blue, but I've never purchased a blue car. Yellow is my favorite car color, but when I ordered I convinced myself the yellow on the Mustang was too flashy for me. I've seen two now on the road and I really think they're sharp looking with the charcoal interior. Yellow will prolly be my next purchase if not black again.

I would've bought a Sonci Blue one. I love that color.

Actually, there was a bone stock Sonic Blue on the lot when I bought mine. If it had had nothing but the upgraded interior and had I decided ahead of time that this would be my tuner car, I would've bought it and spent the savings on parts . However, I'm happy with my baby.

Windveil Blue: it looks very nice and it's very retro as well as Legend Lime...

My thoughts EXACTLY!! I keep arguing with my husband that (sorry folks) silver, white, grey, etc. are not "colors" and that blue, yellow and red are! My second choice would have been yellow but I would have gotten red because my husband loves red for the Cincinnati Reds!
