I'm wondering, if Ford were to use this poll to determine to add just one new color for 2006, what color would you want them to add? This color would apply for all Mustangs accross the board for 2006, not just Special Editions of any kind. I specifically left off the Titanium Silver from the NAIAS show car because it's already been said that that color will be offered next year.
I hope I didn't forget any good colors.

Besides that I don't think Competition Orange would make a great addition as it is too close to red and we have two shades of red already. If an orange were to be added I'd prefer Grabber or better yet Tangerine like in 96.

I agree with Eric B. If orange comes back it needs to be like the orange of 96 or Grabber Orange. They brought back the muscle car look, now lets bring back the muscle car colors. Even Grabber Blue would be nice. But, please now more baby puke green and tarnished gold colors (no offense if you got a legend lime green).

Actually there is an awesome color that i think would be great for the new mustang....
Cream
I used to have a Ford Falcon wagon that was this color and many other cars of the sixties had this ....
would look great with a black soft top and black leather seats too....

There you go, Mike.... I knew there was a blue like that once.... just had no d@mn idea where to find it. It's a vintage Mustang color, so there's all the excuses they need.
I think Ben Stiller said it best in Starsky and Hutch.....
"Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it."

what color was Midnight Turquoise in '65? is ther anywhere we can get a color pallet to see what these colors actually look like, instead of relying on ancient photography scanned digital?
Nevermind... found a paint chip from '65. It's for the T-Bird and Lincoln Continental, but the Midnight Turquoise is the same color code as the '65 Mustang

That's right Clint, it fits their mission perfectly. I'd have chosen that if it were available today. I had that pic on my computer.. love it. Here a site for anyone interested I stumbled upon with specs and production #s for many vintage years:
