i cant tell. i ASSUME its a shelby GT-H but front the picture and the awful lighting its hard to say. can always message the seller

 

I wonder how much he wants for it...

 

i always wonder about that when it comes to reserve auctions. ill never understand putting a reserve. if he wont sell it for under, say, 600.......then y not just start the bidding at that???

 

Reserves get more people interested watching and bidding then one that starts at say, 1500. I don't know why anyone would sell a hood that is numbered seperate of the corresponding car

 

So where is the rest of the car?

 

From the looks of the hood and the plaque, it seems to be the ORIGINAL GT hood that was removed in place of the SHELBY hood.

 

oh yeah that is just dumb..thats the stock gt hood that was taken off before the shelby gt hood was put on./

man carrol is always looking to make an extra buck.

 

Actually, I don't think that he makes any money off of doing those things. In fact, if you want something of your's signed, he'll sign it for a price ($100 or $200 depending on whether it's a part or not), and you make the payment to his childrens foundation....not to him.

 

+1, he will sign a car part for $200, and it goes to his childrens foundation. I think I'm going to have him sign my dash.

 

wow didnt know the money went to charity. what a guy. yea thats retarded though, they put on the auction shelby GT-H and yet the hood is off a stock stang'. whats the point? its not like im going to hang the friggin hood on my wall.
