I would guess yes because the engine light came on from a modification you made. But, like everything else, it's not what you know....it's who you know.

Good luck!

You need to get a tuner to run the cold air intake anyway. Car is to sensitve and runs too lean with a cold air intake.

MMR states that after about 200 miles the light will turn off after the computer has recalibrated itself. Anyway, I tuned it so it would turn off instantly

What if you disconnect the battery for a few minutes after the intake is installed to "reset" the computer? Does this work??

Back to the question of will they hassle you. It's a good question, the only one who can answer that is the dealer's service dept. It does vary, I have a friend with a 2001 Cobra who was having an issue with a certain dealers service dept. They made him turn his car back to stock before they would even look at it. Returning back to stock involved getting rid of his Bassani x-pipe, and mufflers, and putting the stock air filter back. Here's the kicker..... They told him nothing was wrong.

:bang:

Word on the street is that the dealership I bought from happens to be the one to take it to if you have a modified vehicle. I'll find out for myself soon as I'm quickly approaching that first service time, and I'll ask the service manager straight up what the policy is.

Hey SixtySix, did you put 255s on the stock rims? If so, how do they fit? Is there much sidewal bulge? I am assuming you put on 255/50/17s?

Yup, those are on stock bullits. 255's are a good fit on an 8" rim, right in the middle of recommended width's for them. (7-9 in)
