Is that paint or an insert? I'm going to do the same with my Legend Lime Green, along with Shelby stripes and am trying to estimate the paint costs.

It's actually flat black vinyl.
I am going to have it painted flat black in the next several months or so.
I went with vinyl for now to see if I like it as much as I thought I would like it... If that made any sence...
Anyway the answer is YES!
It really looks like a different... more aggressive car from the back!
I think it also complements the front of the car better now.

Now, that's what I'm talking about!!! Check out the photoshop forum, I have a couple of suggested "blackouts" posted there- legend lime and mineral gray.

I think you should also consider blacking out the spoiler/wing.

You might look into black vinyl overlay, instead of paint, that way it's easier to change if you ever get tired of the look.

Black-out AND Shelby stripes? Do you plan on doing real Shelby stripes and going all the way down the back? Should be an interesting look.

Oh and for the record, the flat (or matte) black looks 100 times better than the gloss.

TN615 What are you planning on doing to the hood?

It will one day it's called MACH 1 I thought of that when I first seen the 05, so I really like it. Plan to do that to ours. Want to see good pictures of your Silver. I like the spoiler painted also on the lime one. Done with Matte Black only, no gloss.
