I still havent gotten my 05 yet. I put the deposit, he gavce me the vin and still i have no car... I was expecting it the 1st or 2nd week of august but i still dont have it!!! and then i hear of people getting 06's and i still dont have my 05. I want my black GT soooooo bad... i think everyone has had the waiting problem... i just wish the dealer woudl give me a real date!!!

That really sucks. No sucks doesn't even describe it! To talk about it would enrage the deepest bowels of heck to spew forth massive ammounts of thick rage. Call your dealer and tell him you want a date or you walk. You could of already ordered an 06 by now and either had one built or at least had a build date. My sympathy to you o' man of great patience. I would have hung someone by now. :notnice:

Well just to let anyone who cars know, I still in NOVEMBER havent recieved my mustang yet. It turns out im now getting an 06 and my dealer told me I'm getting in from one of 3 mustangs GTs coming into 3 seperate dealers around the area. 2 of the stangs that im supposed to get are on the ford inventory search as at the dealers. anyone know how long before they get the cars that they show up on there? Well i keep yall up dated when i finaly get word of when I'm supposed to get my car. i cant wait to drive it but darn, this is the most frustrating procces ive ever dealt with. almost 6 months of wanting this car :notnice:

 

Update: According to the dealer, my car should be to me on december 6th

 

I got a new update on my car, I finaly got the invoice from the dealer. I was wondering if there are ways to find out any more specific info on the car's delivery date. I know i saw something were you could find out using the vin number so if some one has a link to that, it would be a huge help if you posted it.

just read your first post- he gave you the VIN in august???I hope that car didnt go elsewhere- never heard of one stuck that long yet...interesting to see what Kzinti finds out.

if the 05 had a VIN, then it DID get built. wonder who got it, but Kzinti can pull the final report on it and see the sale date- then you might need to have a little talk with your dealer...good luck on your 06- I'm hoping to see mine today or tomorrow

 

You should get accurate order status from Ford Customer Relationship Center. Check my signature. At this late date, your car should be an '06. Hope this helps

 

I called today and to my suprise he told me the car just got to his dealership!!!! I'm going as soon as my dad can get off work tommorrow!!! I'm not gonna get to excited though all though i am, i dont want to jinx anything!!

 

Yesterday I went on an hour and a half ride to plaqueimine, LA for one reason. To get my mustang GT!!!! we drove up and i saw my car, he handed me the keys as i walked in the door and my dad finished signing the papers in literally under 10 mins! While the 7 months of waiting sucked, It was definiatly worth it! since i finaly got it, maybe i can get some nanners... and i'll wash and wax it today and then post some pics!

 

I forgot to tell yall this last post...

I had the car for less than 12 hours, and i was already pulled over with blue flashing lights on behind me. :cop: The good news is that i had forgot to turn my lights on and she just told me to make sure they were on and left.

lets hope this is one of the last times i have to see this :cop:

Your car looks great!! I have only been waiting since the beginning of Oct. Not nearly as long as you or some of the other people on the board. But I am very anxious awaiting the arrival.
