Like a lot of you good folks I have been looking for a GT for a while. None of the dealerships in my area have had any since I first learned about them. Saturday, my wife and I dropped by a local place to look at the V6 and basically were just killing time. After about 5 mins a young lady came out and asked if she could help us. I explained that we were just looking and that of course I would like to check out a GT.
She said she sorry but they did not have any and told me that for their part, they could not keep them on the lot and had even had two GT bought off the transport truck before they even unloaded them.
She asked if she could get me a brocher, and I followed her into the dealership. I asked if I might go ahead and fill out a credit ap. and have that much done if I decided to order a GT.
In the process of filling this out she mentioned to one of the other salespeople that I was looking for a GT and low and behold he jumped up and pointed across the four lane to their unloading lot that I was not even aware of and said they had one on that lot.
Longer story short, I test drove the stinker with plastic still on the dash and everywhere else.
I didn't get a dime off the sticker price, Satin Silver, black enterior, beutiful beyond my best description.
My wife sent off for my personalized tag today that says the same thing as my screen name.
Our insurance is going up about a hundred bucks a month. And the car note is a painful thought also.
I love the car though and I hope that everyone agrees that my pocket pain is worth it.

New to it all 2slack. Forgive my ignorance. Thank you everybody else, and yes she is a better one than I deserve.
P.S.-Where should I go from now on 2slack as not to offend your order of the Mustang universe?

I know how you feel, I bought the first one our local dealership had, and by no way was there going to be any negotiations on price. Payment stinks but the car is well worth it. Have had mine since October 20th and it has almost 6,000 miles on it already.
------------
Don't know where you are from, but there are plenty of GT's to choose from around here now, and SALEENS.
