So I have decided on my Exhaust, which Do you guys prefer?

I am getting the Bassani Catted X pipe that has modular cats so I can always go off road.

 

Go with the Race if you can tolerate loud.

 

The ss ones are plenty loud. If you put on the race ones, welcome to the world of getting the attention of every police officer within 1/8 mile, everywhere, all the time....

 

You really think its any different with either as far as the cops go? Its an everyday car so Im not sure which.

 

I've had some loud cars, if you even mildly accellerate from an intersection, a cop 8 cars back will definitely take notice. I've never believed in super loud exhaust untill the car modded to the point it HAS to have it and can back up the noise. I see super loud setups at the track all the time that turn a 14.1. It also gets everyone next to you thinking you're racing them. The Basanni SS's aren't that quiet either, but not obnoxious like stingers or loudmouths. Remember, if you are the first one in a big gap of cars on a wide open road/freeway, A vic is pretty quiet to be sitting in with the windows down. If you're sitting in the drone-zone of a really loud setup even at legal speeds, he hears you commin all the way, let alone crusing through quiet little towns or university parking lots with very bored local yokels...

 

I liked the sound of the SS version..

 

I vote SS, if they aren't loud enough for you they can always be resold for a pretty good amount and go up to the race version. You won't lose much $$ on a set of mufflers that you only have on the car for 2 weeks.
