my car got a booboo, darn it, I am really starting to hate these freeways, first it was a huge rock that took a gash out of my hood and it cost me $300 to fix and no I had a huge chunk of tire hit my car and the front end is all scratched up, the State should have to pay for these damages, what the heck is our tax dollars going to when they cant even remove debris from the freeways after accidents and blowouts and where are the cops giving these jerkoffs with the huge trucks and no mudflaps tickets, I get stopped for no license plate for crying out loud who am I hurting there, these guys are flinigng rocks at my car.....

You gotta hate that!!

Sorry man, that bites.

My car see very little rush/prime time hours on freeways for this very reason. The damage is almost always too minimal for an insurance claim, yet big enough to dent your wallet worse than the car. Not to mention the mental anguish.

I feel ya, bro. I have to contend with L.A. freeways myself, and so far I've been lucky, but I know it's just a matter of time.

I also hate CA freeways, Last year my friend had bought a Mach 1, 2 months after, he was driving in the freeway and a small rock hit his windshield, it left a big crack on it.

Agreed 100%!!! There's more constuction down here in SW FL than one can imagine. Dump trucks galore... don't any of these aholes have any respect for other people's property? And what do the cops do? ... Nothing. A huge overloaded dumptruck dropping gravel down the road doing 80 miles per hour is a whole lot more dangerous than anything I'm doing.

Tell me about it!
Not only doesnt the state pick up all of the debri (almost hit a bed today, a BED!), Ca. drivers can't drive, especially during rain, they seem to just flip out at the slightest sprinkle.

Hey if you know where to ask I would ! as yes they are liable to an extent, in Canada I was driving down a road nailed a pot hole that I Could not avoid , and took my case to the Department of Highways , who were responsible for the roads , and they told me to get 3 estimates and bring them in, and I got who I wanted to fix it. So do some digging take pictures when where etc and Go for it !

I wonder if the guy in the ford trucks last words before the crash were, "Hold my beer, and watch this."

Yep they are bad, the more west you go the worse it gets. I remember a guy losing his load of mattresses in the freeway. Luckily we were not directly behind him.

I don't understand why they even bother to put those roll over tarps on gravel trailers. The drivers never use them. They drive around 80 around here. If you see one comeing up in your rearview mirror...........you better out run him and stay in front or your hood and windshield will look like it took a shotgun blast.
