The only color I want on the car is from the stripes, so in the end I think i'd get a little tired of the side stripe being purple as well. I also forgot to add to the "to do" list of the exterior getting my calipers powder coated black. Come to think of it, I need more to go than i've done. I haven't done a single mod to my car since the paintjob, and even though i've had Ford Racing springs since June, I just haven't picked up the shocks/panhard so I can just do it all in one shot.

Looks Great! Love the rolling shots
There is a guy that had put some purple-ish GT/CS side stripes on his and I think it turned out pretty nice. A slightly different color but subtle.

I like your color racing stripes though too.

Yeah, my paint warranty is gone, but I live in a place that never gets snow or rain, so other than staying out of the few sandstorms we have(and I do), the only thing I have to worry about with my paint is swirl marks.

Paint tip for the day . . . . I wipe my Black 05 GT with isopropyl rubbing alcohol a day after I wash . . . . . . try it . . . .it takes all the wipe marks off and makes it it SHINE!

Nice Antigini.
Just curious...have you ever thought of taking off the side stripes? I'm not saying you should, I'm just asking for myself really. It's the last thing on my car that even says CS or has anything to do with the package other than the front and rear bumpers. Do you think it would be wrong for either of us to remove them? Just curious what a fellow CS'er thinks.

Gary- If you're curious, remove the stripes. Worst case, you're out a few bucks at the parts dept.
