Yesterday I was driving on my lunch break messing around with my new Diablo tuner and dropped a gear on a turn and basically drifted around the corner. With my luck there were 2 cops standing there about 50 feet in front of me monitoring prison inmates painting a crosswalk. I could see one of the cops were pretty enraged (it's okay though because the inmates thought it was funny). I got the "friendly" wave over to stop and he gave me an earful. It didn't help that my car was still track ready (helmet and diablo tuner on the front seat, centercaps out, shoe polish numbers on all my windows) and my license plate

After my friendly lecture on road safety he let me go. I don't think he had a ticket book with him anyway.

It's just an odd avatar. A fat kid eating. I was wondering if it was some kid from a tv show or movie or soemthing significant. I didn't know if it was meant to be sadisticly funny or cute.

 

There's nothing like the feeling of just being on the car hard and just knowing you're WAY out of the line of acceptable road-going behavior and seeing the cop.

I've also had it where you do the radical stunt and suddenly within like 1.5 minutes, the cherrys are behind you.

Yeah, most of us have done some crazy thing's while in our mustang's. Remind's me of the time I was leaving work at about 11 pm and the light had just turned green and I took off like a bat out of hades and was making a left hand turn, went to shift from first to second and dumped the clutch and managed to pull a 180 across two lanes of traffic and wind up facing the opposite direction in a left turn lane with a big rig closing in :bang: . No cop's other cars were around except for the big rig who was stopping for the light but That cured me of Sport's Car hijink's.
