Welcome to the darkside :D . If I decide to do gears, they will be 4.10s. It all depends on what kind of driving you do most, city or highway. Your best bet would be check the performance forum and see if anyone is running 4.30s

I have been reading...but one more tidbit from someone who has had them never hurts. I do mostly city driving...I live min from work. But I do get on the interstate from time to time...I think im going to do 4.10 for now.

Car is still not built...actualy it was told to me that it could be on a comodity hold :( they will let me know when they find out for certian. This stinks....

So my GT is built!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not only was it built on the 12th but shipped as well!!!!!! Estamated delivery is now the 23rd!!!!!!!!

So I guess now it's down to who gets their car first. Mine was also shipped out on Dec 12.

I did some checking ..a guy from NJ got his car 8 days from the shipping date. So I figure monday or tues for my car to arrive. I hope tues or wed, so the funds are clear at my bank.
I checked the date of your friends car. his was shipped on Nov. 19 and arrived on Dec 8, so that gives you an idea around when yours will arrive.

Well that would make mine week of dec 31st. That is what the date was but then it changed back down to week of the 23rd. Maybe it will come quicker....but I dont really think it will knowing my luck.

I found a post from a member in Louisiana that just got his car this week. Why don't you ask him what his build date was, then how long it took to get his car. If you do that then you'll have a better idea in regard to shipping time.

Well here it is...12/23 :bang: and the message still hasnt changed...your car was shipped by convoy carrier estamated delivery week of the 12/23. Week of means what...till tomorrow?

well... The truck bringing my car from the rail yard broke down. Might get here Tues or Wed :bang:

I was so ready to see my rims on the gt we put them on my friends car tonight. Had to adjust his mac exhaust we looked at the stack of rims n tires and the impact gun and said lets do it. Man it looks so good and handels soo much better.

Believe me, I'm not happy about this. I just keep telling my self it will be here soon. Gives me some extra time to get my tires , now I'll have to buy another mod to hold me over :D

That's cool, atleast you get to see how your wheels look on a car. Just don't let your friend do to many burnouts :jester:

What's a few more days going to matter after waiting as long as you have already? Your cars have been built and have been shipped, and based on the dates you both gave regarding shipping date and ETA your cars should be here anytime.

I know that what I said may be hard to accept, but I was in your shoes exactly one year ago (as of December 14th your unit has been shipped via convoy with ETA week of December 25...then changed to week of January 1st). Drove it home on the 28th.

I remember something a guy told me when I kept asking him about the delays on my order (it was on a delay for almost a month before it was scheduled for build)
"getting stressed out about the car isn't going to make it come any faster. It's going to be built/shipped soon"

Another thing to think about....
You could be like many people here that just placed their order and are waiting for their car to be scheduled, or have ordered months ago and are still 'Clean/Unscheduled'.

It's not the wait for the car to get built that is getting to me. It's the fact that it is sitting in a lot less than 30 mins from my house! Anxiety is starting to take over . :D

Ohh man 30 min away...if it were that close for me I would be on the phone telling them im coming to pick it up.

Yeah the waiting never really got to me before, but now with my friend having his car...I really want mine :D But I know its going to come and I will forget this pain....but right now im starting to fell it :lol:
