Hey Everybody! I have been lurking around for a while and figured it’s about time I joined all the fun.

Besides that... I FINALY have a build week after 16 weeks (today) of waiting & C/U! I about fell out of my chair when it gave me a Date! O happy Day!! I don't have the car yet, but just knowing that its going to be build it just a huge load off my mind, c'mon June 16th!!!

Now the real count down begins! I just hope I get it before July 4th.

Well I had to rant, and say Hi.

I'll be joining the Ranks in a few weeks.

Carry on,

Cold

When did you get serialized ?

And what did you bought ?

I would be also curious to find out what is your VIN, the last 6 digits normally give you your car number (when it's assign to the line, not necessarly the build order), mine is 235404 and scheduled also for 6/13 according to the dealer. I running a tab to track serialized vs build date.

Just for fun !!!

congrats coldstone!

Not long now!

To know the exact date listen to what she says...if she says "as of june 18th your unit is locked in for production week of june 16th" then your actual build day is june 18th.

Once you get built things really start moving. Congrats again =)

Thanks, Im totaly psyched...

I ordere Feb 14th and got a DORA on the 16th.... after 16 weeks of waiting and hearing C/U. I as over joyed when I got the Schedualed build date. Not sure if this is the same as locked, serialized or what, Im just glad its not C/U.

Heck, its been so long since I ordered Im not even sure what options I got LOL, but for anyone interested... Specs,

Mineral Grey GT, Auto (Im lazy), Shaker 1000, & IUP.

So if you are in the Saratoga, NY area and see a big hairy guy in a mineral grey Stang, give a wave.

What this heck does C/U mean? I see it all over but no one breaks it down. What is the exact order process until delivery?

I've got....

1. Order Date
2. DORA
3. Serialized (Does this mean VIN)?
4. Build Date
5. Ship Date
6. Delivery Date
7. Happy New Mustang Owner

Thanks,

Jim

C/U= clean and unscheduled. And you forgot the step of "wait forever and a day on C/U".

Thanks for the quick response. I'm still C/U at this point. Ordered 03/28/05, in my 10th week. Salesperson told me last Friday I was scheduled for this week and he would have a VIN number for me by this Friday. We'll see! On my list I actually have a 5a & 5b, Delivery to Roush, Ship from Roush which will add a week or two to the wait.

Thanks again,

Jim

YAY, the Computer Lady Says im locked in for June 13th.

I don't know if its better or worse knowing that I actualy going to get the car now... the anxiety is overwhelming now... I spend most of my day looking something like

Anyway, Thinking of getting some WebElectric Sequential turn Signals for a little dress up. Any one have any experience with them?

Well back to "work", man I can't wait!.

I ordered way back in December and mine just got to the dealer about 2 weeks ago...a month earlier than originally expected! Now all I need is $1700 for TTL to pick her up...I'm almost there. She will be in the garage soon so she can snuggle up! Here's a few pics of her at her temporary home in the back lot of the dealer...BTW, the guy who gets paid to unwrap her is going to let me do that! She was also one picked for the 50 mile test drive at the factory!

You are getting VERY close now. Good luck trying to sleep  I installed the WebElectric sequentials and I'm very happy with them. I got the plug and play version...very easy install and no cutting into the wiring harness.
