Holy crap.. if I had known that street was public-ish.. I would've done this a long time ago.

When I turned the corner.. I thought for sure guys in black SUV's would start following me.. I had the traction control off... just in case..

I felt like... hmmm Ripley when seeing all the Alien eggs for this first time... or like Luke Skywalker dress as a Stormtrooper as he's in the Death Star looking to see where Princess Leia is at... ooooor you get the idea.

05's of alllll colors and styles.. even some left over 04's there too.

That mineral grey vert is an 04 not an 05.. so don't get excited.

As I was driving through, saw a young lady driving a Mineral Grey GT.. and then on the way back.. another person drove by in a silver V6.. all had the blue plastic covering on the bumpers and some on the sides.

Sorry for the crappy pics.. I was just too geeked to be in there. I'll try again tonight or tomorrow :worship:

Amy, great job

Next time get out of the car and walk up to the fence if you can.

Have someone in the car waiting if you need to make a getaway

There were a few secruity guards and some tree trimmers, which looked equally as scary hahaha. I'll bring some Ex-Lax brownies with me on the next journey

The top picture is the employee lot.

The rest of the pictures are the holding lot at the side of the plant.

You are also right about the road is open to the public. Both International Drive (which goes in front of the plant) and Vreeland Drive (at the side of the plant), are public roads.

In case anybody needs one, I have attached a map showing how to get to AAI

Does it look like they have really been building 400-500 per day? It is hard to tell from the pics.

YES!! when I drove through there.. it was like miles of 05's in the holding lot.

The pics don't look like much because.. I'm in my Mustang, I'm short and there is a slight slope and lots of landscaping where they are at.

The scheduled production rate for this week is 300 cars/day.

Last I haerd AAI was keeping within 90% of the scheduled rate last week.
