until we have more concrete stuff to talk about. So far everything we talk about is speculation!

Feels like when you were 5 on Christmas Eve trying to go to sleep knowing that Santa was coming, huh?

Well, on the concrete front, they've finished the Wespark Tollway near my place. That's a very nice stretch of concrete. I took it yesterday. Man, what a time saver, a great use of concrete. And steel, I suppose. Only cost me $1.25 to use it. I can't wait to use that concrete again.

And man, when I-10's concrete is finished, that's going to be sweet. You can tell near Mason and Fry where they've got outbound bridge overpasses built. That's gonna be some nice concrete. No lame tar/asphalt for that stretch of highway, no sir.

werd. i live out in katy, off of fry. so when they get I-10 all put together my life will be a lot happier. right now traffic is such a nightmare. i'm gunna give the westpark tollway a try. how far does it run? 59-BW8? i haven't been down there in a while to see it...but i'm guessing it's nice.

LOL didn't expect someone to agree! Heh.

The Westpark Tollway runs from 610 & 59 ish all the way to HWY 6, but I got off at BW8 'cause that's near my home.

I just went down I-10 to get to my appointment today. Still here too. Sure is gonna be nice when that's done.

I'm sure this is slightly off topic by now...

So this guy walks into a bar with a slab of concrete in his arms, right, and he goes up to the bartender and says, "I'll take a pint of beer and one for the road.." *rimshot*

Hehehe!

Remember when concrete was invented? That Fred Flintstone, man, what timing. Mr. Slate named it after his daughter, Concretia. There was a great moment in history, eh?
