Since I've been visiting this site for an eternity already, I thought you should be the....errr second to know I bought one!

Torch red GT, light graphite cloth interior, automatic, 17" wheels (although I still prefer the standards). It's my first NEW car in over a decade. LOL....and man did it take some monetary consideration. But WTF you only live once, right? Tuna and Mac for the next 5 years!

The only break I got was a decent loan rate. They seem pretty hard to come by especially this late in the year, lots of V6s (almost considered them....a bargain in the low $20s IMHO) and most of the dealerships have a $4000 mark up on GTs in SoCal STILL.

Has anyone seen the SDS? San Diego Specials? V6s with dealer stripes and special emblems. Are there any other regional promotions in effect?

Congrats! I live in SoCal too and everytime I take my car in for service I take a look at the ones on the lot, they still have a few GT's all with a $3900 mark up and dealer installed crap that brings the sticker to around $36k+

Curious what kinda rate you got, I have 760+ credit and still got 4% (thought I could get lower) Hope you were able to get it for sticker, even with my credit I had to put on quite a show to get mine for sticker in dec. Banging the table, calling their bs and almost walked out 3 times.

How do you like it so far? I'm taking mine in this week to have the front end replaced again, they put the TSB parts in but it started popping again, the service guy told me Ford had an all new kit, I am assuming newer than the TSB kit they already installed. I LOVE this car, although it is embarassing when your creeping through a parking lot and it starts popping, hopefully it will get resolved this week.

Enjoy.

I'm picking it up this afternoon PICs to follow!

I got it at list $27K not bad for a GT around here. I had given up even finding one. The rate is 5.99 because I'm doing a lonnnnng loan beacuse I have to sell TWO cars. I may just refinance my condo and roll it into one anyway.

Congratulations!

Side note: That's a nice cat you have. I've owned two 69 Cougars. Both were std models, and one had the 351W 4v and one had the 2v. Man, I miss that 4v car. Hopefully the Mustang can fill the void when it finally arrives.

I'm kind of glad they were late getting my Mustang detailed. I got it all on "film" errr disc?

Does everyone take lots of "Baby Pictures"? I figured it's only new once ;-) Here "Tommy Tomato" is still in the detail bay.
