If you could get that one done for $3000 by a reputable shop I would be very surprised.

That will cost a lot

It will have to be put on a frame machine for sure

Airbags are about $1000 a piece, keep in mind

+ fender, hood, fascia, rad support and any other goodies underneath.

Parts alone are over $3000

Its definitly going to be more than 3k. The body parts alone might cost that. And then youve got internal parts and potentially damaged engine parts. And you have to get it painted.

depends if the frame is bent or if the engine bay is damaged. The hood and fender need to be replaced. Maybe the hood could be fixed. Are the air bags still intact? The body and suspension work alone will cost you 5k at least and add another 2 if the airbags are deployed.

just looking at how far back the front wheel is, and where the car was hit, i'd guess the driver's side framerail and apron need to be repaired to get the dimensions back in order.

In a shot like this, the entire body might be twisted as well.

Saw this car on e-bay.

Frame isn't bent, but the wheel is pushed back. New axel I'd reason to guess. Not worth it IMHO.

Well this was $7,000 so you might be able to get it done under that. It was done by our local Ford dealer (big mistake, took over a month).

Probably closer to $7,500 by the time parts and labor are totally added.

Your only hope for a 3K repair would be to find one ( of the same color) wrecked ( totalted ) in the rear and buy the parts at a junk yard.

However, as one person said the air bags and frame pull will probably be 3K

That car is worth 14K without any bodydamage. If you look closely it has a rental bar code on the window. It is a 6 banger rental car.

The second problem is that it will always be worth 50% of book value because it has a salvage title.

If I see a coupe dog legging down the freeway with an ill fitting Chinabang fender I will know it is the dupe that bought that ugly thing on ebay.

My local dealer has about 15 rental car V6' on his lot for the mid teens. 23K miles, half worn tires, Motel 6 smell, and some slick detailing.

Buyer beware.

Lots of rentals showing up here in Indiana too. Watch out for the Katrina flood cars too. I found a Dodge Ram truck on a lot back in 2001 that was a flooded truck from Texas.
