Thumbs up

Well after checking out MustangTuning.com wheels for the 05-06, I am seriously considering getting these http://www.mustangtuning.com/chrome-2005-d...18x9-18x10.html for my 06.

I ordered the 64 Fanblades which was an extra $825. Was thinking about ordering the new rims and when my car arrives at the dealer swapping them out, that way there would be 0 miles on the fanblades, or maybe driving it home and swapping them out then there would only be 40 miles on them.

Anyone know what they could be sold for on eBay or here? It would include the rims and tires.

you'd probably get close to what you paid for them on ebay but that's about it.

I like those deep dish bullits a lot more than FAN BLADES in IMO and the price with shipping is not bad. Probably break close to even. I am going to seriously consider them.

Actually I was just talking about the bullit part. The deep dish bullits look alot better than mine, but they are just another form of bullit. At first I loved my bullits, but then I saw that 9 out of 10 mustangs from 2002 up has some sort of bullit wheel.

Wade: oh ok now I know what you mean about the bullit part, and I agree even my 03 has them

But the Chrome and deep dish set it apart a bit more

So you don't love your bullitts anymore because other people think they look good enough to have on their car as well?

They are my favorite style of rim. and shows its alot of other peoples too. He makes a good point, as Im debating the fanblades or bullits myself.

That's not it at all. I don't want the bullits anymore because almost all the mustangs down here have bullits. To me it doesn't matter if it's a chrome, black, grey, or deep dish it's still a bullit.

I wouldent like every car having the same wheels as me either. I would want my car to be unique..

And i dont think the fanblades are worth $825. The 05 upgrade wheels can be added for 195. i think the reason that the upgrade fanblades cost $825 is cuz they add something different to the car with it. I dont remember what tho I think you should stay with the stock bullits and sell those.. you have a better chance of making more money back IMO.

Remember though that with the 17" upgrade wheels you have the same tires as the standard 17" bullitts...that's why the option is only $195. The $825 for the fanblades includes 18" tires and suspension tuning.

Is the suspension tuning required? I'd like to have those fanblades. Can I just put them on my 05, or do I need to do the tuning too??

Yes if I sell them I would be selling rims and tires, and like I said they probably would have 0 miles on them If I get then changed with the new rims when I pick it up.

You can put them on your '05, some members have already done so without special tuning (RMac and Dan are ones that come to mind).

Yah guys, no worries with adding the blades. My ride is surprisingly good, only marginally rougher. But the improvement in handling with the new rims and KDW 255's is really something else. No more roll like I experienced with the stock tires on turns.
