How many people have sat in the 05's?
Wednesday night I stopped by Marriot hotel here in Tulsa, that’s hosting the Mid America Ford Performance and Shelby Meet. I was hoping that Ford had started to setup their cars…The only car they had setup so far for display was a windveil blue GT auto.
There was a woman talking with the Ford rep, who seemed to know the guy and he opened the car up for her. Of course after she got out of the GT, I had ask if I could check it out…The seats aren’t quite as comfortable as I’d hoped, still way better’n what I got in my six cylinder. I’m about six feet tall and this car has so much room inside, you could almost throw a party in there.
The lighting at night in the hotel lobby is pretty sad but here are a couple of shots. Hopefully I’ll get some better pics this weekend.

I've sat in one too, both driver's and front passenger's seats.
It's not perfect, but the seats and the inside are [b]wonderfuly comfortable[b] compared to my 2001 GT (6'2", 210 lb.)
You're right about it feeling roomy compared to the 99-04. The EPA interior volume of the 2005 is 96 cu ft verses 83 cu ft for the 99-04. That's a 15% increase, which is rather significant.

The Mach 1 Registry and IMBOC (Bullitt club) were fortunate to meet with the Mustang engineers at the MCA 40th in Nashville. I spent time shifting and making engine noises in this development car.
On the recent Cincinnati tour, I got some more seat time but no photos. In this instance, I spent time drooling on my shirt.
