How many mustangs can Flat Rock produce per day. I have a VIN # of 107874 and have a build date of the week of 8/15. This is the second week of production so can they produce 7900 cars in two weeks?

Also, I heard that they were ending the production of the T-Birds and this assembly capacity was going to be changed over to Mustangs. Has anyone heard about this?

i would hope they are able to bang out more stangs...maybe mine will be built a little bit sooner

Ford expects 191,000 to be produced. 365 days in a year. So by those numbers they can produce 523 per day. That number doesn't include when the plant is closed for holidays. I'm not sure if they are open for production on the weekend or what holidays they take off, but I heard that the plant is closed for a week during Thanksgiving and a week for Christmas. The more days the plant is closed the more that number (523) increases.

i have read about 40 per hour.

don,t forget the 2 week july shutdown. I think they have a week shutdown in december too.
