How about an opinion
Call me indecisive – which do you guys think look best for my '06 GT Tungsten convertible.
The classic 17” Bullitt
Or
The new 18” Fanblades
And what about the mechanical mods that come with the 18" wheel?
Just different springs?

It depends on how long you want to wait. I personally like the fanblades, but I"m not going to wait for the delay or feel it's worth getting 18's because I'm afraid of how much more coarse the ride will be from them.

My build date for the car with the Fanblades is Aug 22, so not an issue.
Assuming 64E is Fanblades that is.

Saw the fanblades on a test mule on the expressway in Detroit. I would go for them . They have much more visual impact when moving than any of the 05 GT wheels. They fill the wheelwells better and also appear to stick out more from the body.

The 18in wheel looks/fits better IMO. Personally I'm getting the 64E for the look and supposed suspension tune. I would rather have the 64W bullitts though but no way am I going to wait around for them. I do hear that the 17in wheel is better for at the track since you get more sidewall. So it depends on if you like how they look or not.
Stock Bullitts. No doubt.
Besides the fact that I think they look better, there are a lot of "fanblade" looking wheels out there on foreign cars and trucks. They're everywhere once you start looking.
The only cars that have the Bullitt style (Torque Thrust II) wheels are other Mustangs and some old muscle cars.
