to hot for verts!

Ok, I am always bragging when it's 70 in January. This isn't funny and check out the one on the right below!

I'm thinking a vert with black top better left inside! I'm just rambling here but, everyone have a good weekend!

yeah, but its only 4 % humidity...lol.
main reason for going with the parchment top insted of black. we get into the 90's and low 100's with 80 to 90 % humidity....you walk outside and condensate not sweat.
BTW going to a show today with the top down...

The only bad thing about the parchment top is that I have seen too many mildewed....Another thing I like about the black is that you have to get right next to the car to tell its a vert.

I'll take 110 degrees w/near zero % humidity ANY DAY over the high 90's and low 100's w/80-90% humidity. The east coast can be VERY uncomfortable. That said, yeah, it can be too hot for a ragtop just like it's too hot for a motorcycle too.

It gets plenty hot here but I don't ride with top down when it's the middle of the day. Early morning or late afternoon(about an hour before sunset) during hot months. Also night riding w/ top down is SWEET

I agree. I'd rather be overheated and DRY than less hot and sticky as all get out.

I'll let ya'll know in a few weeks if I still feel the same way. I have to work outdoors in Tucson for five starts days...in AUGUST.

We are feeling the heat here too. 104 yesterday and its already 85 at 10am Driving in the heat with the top down is just too freaking hot. Turn the AC on with the top up during the mid day heat is always a requirement. But in the evenings with the top down and AC off is the best (saves gas too).

I don't know if its just me but very dry climate makes my skin on my fingers split and bleed and my skin in general starts looking lizard like

That's why my 'vert spends it's summers in Lake Tahoe! Once it starts getting too warm down in the Sacramento Valley, it's off to the mountains for the summer!!!

Hey Greg,

If ya think it's too hot in your white GT/CS convertible, maybe you ought to sell it and buy a black '09 with the glass roof option . Can you imagine how hot that would get here?

Oh and if any of you other guys think you won't sweat in dry 110+ temps, you're wrong. I was outdoors yesterday afternoon when it hit 111. Yes, you can.

I hate humidity, id much rather it be a dry 100, than a 90 with 75% humidity

but when you walk outside, and are sweating about 5 seconds later, it's too **** hot. I'd much rather it be 25* than 90*

I bought my '06 while I was living in Phoenix. We kicked around buying a convertable for a weekend.

Besides the heat, it was the thought about sitting at red lights while traveling through Maryvale twice each day that nixed the idea. I was going to feel much too exposed for my comfort.

Not over-exposure to the sun. That area of Phoenix is a bit crime-ridden.

What is a dry heat actually like? Is it somewhat bearable? Many people describe the heat of Florida as unbearable, is that not the case for Arizona?
