Hood Question

Hey Everyone.

I have an 08 GT and I was driving home today and sort of noticed my hood my or may not have been rattling a bit when I was doing around 80. I don't know if it actually was or if it was in my head. But when I got home I tried to lift the hood while it was locked to see if it would give any play and it seems that it does move a little bit on the driver's side more than the passenger side when I lift it.

Is this normal?

TIA

Yep, the stock hoods on these cars seem to move around quite a bit at higher speeds. It gives us a good excuse to buy hood pins

Ah that blows. So there's no sense in taking it to the dealer then huh? I just don't want this thing flipping up on me!

The bump stops are adjustable on these cars. Just unscrew them each 1 turn and see if that helps. It will probably be a little bit harder to close the hood, but that is fine and means they are tight.
